Inspiration- Control

I just saw the most epic film I've ever seen in my entire existance. I use existance because it's atleast x3 more epic. The movie in question is none other than Control; a biopic, by director Anton Corbijn. Corbjn could not have been more brilliant in the portrayal of this epic band, more so Ian Curtis, in it's/his final months.

Here's the link to see it, hopefully it's still up by the time any of you click it.

(Warning SPOILARZ ahead)

Watching the last couple of scenes in that movie was quite awkward for me. I'm a big Joy Division fan, so I knew how it was going to end. I still kept picturing Ian not doing what he ends up doing; I cringed when I got a glimpse of that Iggy Pop album nearing the end. Anyone who reads up knows what that meant. *sigh* Even though it was based on real events, I really wanted it to end up happy somehow. *Billy's Fantasy World- Ian dumps the new chick, works things out at home, and tours the US. *sigh* to What could've been.

Cheers!
